As I expected from the very beginning, Eàrrsanh was extremely grateful subject to paint. I just love this deep blue color of his body and really wanted to show it on my drawing.

The background is rather painterly, I used a lot of brushes in it, for grass some for leaves and general texture brush ...for everything else

I always made myself stupid challenges - when I opened commissions I said I want to concentrate on character painting and will do only SIMPLE BG. Then I sketched a landscape like this one

EDIT 01: ...oh and since you ask - for trudly-detailed bg the mountains and clouds should be more refined. And there could be some rocks in the grass in the corner, etc
